What You'll Do
As the Social Content Specialist, you will create original content for Boochcraft’s social media channels with a focus on Instagram to support evergreen initiatives, product launches, campaigns, and key events. You have a track record of creating content from start to finish: concepting, filming, post-production, photography, copywriting, publishing, and analyzing.
You will be the in-house content creator working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to execute our channel and content strategy. Your creativity in filming, video editing, photography, and copywriting will be key to producing engaging content that stops the scroll, reaches new audiences and resonates with our current audience.
In this role, you will focus on developing and delivering content across our social media channels and other digital channels. You will contribute fresh ideas and execute high-quality assets from start to finish that are tailored for each platform. Your role will primarily involve hands-on content creation - both behind and in front of the camera - post-production and leverage a strong brand tone-of-voice in community management, supporting the overall marketing strategy by producing compelling visuals and copy.
Your content will cover both Boochcraft Hard Kombucha and Mood Feel-Good Functionals, capturing the essence of our products and taproom experiences, while delivering and ensuring clear differentiation between the two brands. Strong creativity and effective communication with the marketing team are essential to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all content.
Duties And Responsibilities
Develop compelling, on-brand content for social media channels especially short-form video deliverables (with primary focus on Instagram Reels and TikTok).Capture content at our brewery on a regular basis to be used across content. This individual should expect to be on-site 3 days a week.Execute the social media strategy by producing and scheduling posts, maintaining a consistent posting cadence and actively engaging with our community.Create visually appealing posts, stories, and videos that are aligned with our brand’s voice and vision and stop the scroll.Monitor content performance and provide insights and recommendations for optimization to enhance engagement and growth across social channels.Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas, new formats, and ways to test and learn to level up our brand content and storytelling.Stay on top of social trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation."Own it" = take ownership of content and social media channels you work on, ensuring they reflect the brand’s voice and meet strategic objectives!What You'll Need
Education: 4-year degree preferred (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline).Experience: 2+ Years of related Content Creation Experience with 1+ Years in Social Media and Community Building.Specialized Skills: Fluency in all Social Platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Meta, YouTube). Proficient in Adobe Premiere CC, After Effects and Photoshop. Video Filming & Editing. Strong Copywriting Skills.Key Functions: Content Creation, Social Media, Copywriting, Community Management, Project Management.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.Travel: Occasional travel outside of the territory and overnight may be required.This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The Social Content Specialist will also perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.A portfolio of your content creation work is required for your application to be considered. Candidate must be located in San Diego, CA.
The range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 with a bonus potential of up to 5%.
