A prominent AV-rated law firm serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its civil defense litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance defense, general tort defense, employment defense, commercial litigation, and malpractice defense. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Kentucky, with an Indiana Bar license or eligibility to UBE into Indiana required. Represent clients in civil defense matters, including insurance, tort, and employment defense cases.Handle commercial litigation and malpractice defense cases from inception through resolution.Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.Provide legal counsel and advice to clients throughout the litigation process.Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to manage and prepare cases.Maintain communication with clients to ensure they are informed about case developments and strategies.Requirements:

Experience in civil defense litigation, including insurance and general tort defense, employment defense, and commercial litigation.Indiana Bar license or eligibility to UBE into Indiana (required).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:

Active Bar membership in Kentucky (required).Active Bar membership in Indiana or eligibility to UBE in Indiana (required).Skills:

Proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing for trial.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience.Health insurance.Paid parking.401(k) plan with employer contributions.Location:
