The Lease Administrator is responsible for understanding lease details, amendments, and other lease documents, including all critical dates and financial requirements. They will work with landlords, property managers, and market personnel as necessary.The Lease Administrator will have experience in lifecycle lease administration and experience interpreting leasing terms to ensure compliance with all lease-related payments.Key Responsibilities:Communicating and resolving Landlord disputes in accordance with lease provisionsOversight of millions of dollars in rent payments on a yearly basisMonitoring and taking action on critical date items such as lease expirations and lease insuranceCommencing rent payments or exercising option provisions based on lease languageTracking dates for actionable requirements pursuant to the lease documentsReviewing and reconciling recurring monthly rent paymentsPerforming lease auditsSubmitting payment through our Rent File processCollect paperwork and maintain files (both hard files and electronic files) to track all obligations on all leasesResearch and answer lease interpretation questions for internal and external resourcesInterface with the legal and finance departments on all dispute resolutions regarding real estateImplement and manage processes to review, evaluate, transmit, and track all real estate documentsEnsure that all landlord expenditures are appropriate by monitoring and auditing CTI and other landlord expendituresMonitor and maintain all real estate databasesPerforms ongoing analysis of current processes and defines areas for improvementWorks with various departments to ensure initiatives are fully developed and implemented successfullyThis role is located Onsite in Englewood, COSkills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years’ equivalent experience in lease administration or related corporate real estate field
Skills and Qualifications:Understanding and interpreting complex lease languageUnderstanding of legal terminology as it pertains to leases and real estateDemonstrated ability to work independentlyAbility to understand, abstract, and communicate lease requirements to stakeholdersExcellent written, verbal, analytical, and research skills requiredCustomer service oriented for both internal and external audiencesProficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and Looker Studio a plusSelf-starter who takes initiative and follows through to ensure completionAbility to manage projects from beginning to endWorks well under pressure in an environment of constant changeProven experience with people management, with direct and indirect influence
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/YearBenefits
