Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Contract Administration Specialist to join our amazing culture. In the role, you will be responsible for providing support for the corporate legal department and local leadership by reviewing contracts/agreements for the region support, providing relevant revisions to the Terms and Conditions to the Customer (legal drafting), and negotiating and finalizing the agreements. Ensures documents are in their final form and has them signed on behalf of Convergint. Interfaces daily with the sales team. Every colleague is encouraged to participate in our Recruit Awesome People program, helping us grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent to the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers.Administer and manage current and new State & Cooperative Contracts, modifications, updates (adding services and products), and periodic reporting.Provide contract compliance and management of existing State & Cooperative Contracts.Perform necessary reporting for sales and sub-contracting plans and execute contract modifications for parts and labor categories. Maintain contract files.Perform research to answer contract-specific questions from technical personnel and communicate and understand contractual risks.Participate in contract negotiations and discussions with State & Cooperative government contracting personnel, Convergint colleagues, and vendors, mitigating risk to the company.Ensures contract compliance and accuracy for a variety of Cooperative contracts.Work with Contract Vehicle Manager to develop and refine compliance processes for State & Cooperative Contracts, coordinating the implementation and periodic updates with Business Development, Sales, and Operations colleagues.Interfaces on a daily basis with Account Executives (Sales), Senior Management, and the corporate office. Provides updates on contract status when available.Establish direct relationships with State & Cooperative Contract Contacts.Owns and drives the process of ensuring that internal approvals are received for the Scope of Work as presented in the contract; amends/modifies the contract to meet corporate requirements. Ensures clear and concise contract language in order to avoid problems later in the process (e.g., project scope slippage).Ensures receipt of fully executed documents and confirms that file folders are complete and organized. Once the contract has been finalized, upload the final documents to the company repository.Acts as liaison with Convergint legal counsel for the Contract Vehicles team; tracks status of negotiations.Work closely with the Convergint Technology Centers (CTCs) Legal to assist colleagues on successfully navigating the Government bureaucracy/requirements to close business and to familiarize/train the entire Contract Vehicle team with local State requirement considerations.Proactively train CTCs Sales, Program/Project Managers, Service, and Billing teams to ensure compliance and proper payments for Installation, Service, and Change Order work.Provide assistance and guidance to local CTC colleagues who manage their own State/Local contract vehicles to ensure compliance, proper payments, and alignment with the broader Convergint Contract Vehicle strategy.Review State & Cooperative Contract proposals and booking documents to ensure contract compliance and proper reporting and assist with tracking/logging these requests.Complete and submit periodic reporting required by each Contract Vehicle and ensure fee payment is submitted in a timely manner.Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements:Minimum Experience : Managed State or Cooperative Contracts (such as Sourcewell, Omnia, NASPO) OR 3+ years of contracts management/administration or related experienceEducation : College degree, trade school, or equivalent experiencePreferred Education (but not required):
Bachelor's DegreeAbility to self-start and independently monitor own workload.
Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to assess risk and provide concise business-focused advice.Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills with the ability to foster relationships and collaborate with internal & external clients.
