About the role:

As a member of the Talent Acquisition Team, you will assist in our efforts of finding the best talent by partnering with our recruiters to ensure the best possible candidate experience.  We want every person who takes the time to explore opportunities at Carbon to walk away with a positive experience, no matter the outcome.  As one of the main candidate contacts, the person in this role will look at the hiring process from end to end to ensure everyone we meet feels valued and respected. 

In this role, you will be responsible for: 
•Partnering with Recruiters in the talent acquisition team to ensure a best-in-class candidate experience from application through offer process.  
•Directly support a team of 2-3 recruiters with all coordination activities related to interviewing and offers.
•Using GSuite products, schedule all phone, zoom and onsite interviews and debrief sessions.  
•Serve as the main point of communication between candidate and interview teams to ensure everyone is aligned and aware of scheduling logistics.  
•Using our applicant tracking system, Lever, track interview activity and assist with management of open jobs to ensure we have accurate data.  
•Assist in the preparation of offer letters using Lever and DocuSign.
•Respond quickly and effectively to urgent tasks and requests in an environment with changing priorities
•Support the administration of travel, relocation, and employee referral programs.  
•Initiate background checks and clear background investigations.
•After offer acceptance, orchestrate coordination with IT and our onboarding team to ensure the new hire has a successful first day including sending out new hire swag kits welcoming new employees.  
•Maintain personal and team metrics such as interview volume, employee referrals, offer acceptances and budgeting and expense tracking.
•Approach every process with a continuous improvement mindset; suggesting innovative ways to increase efficiencies across the Recruiting team
•Take on other projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications for this position:
•A high level of organization, which is needed to handle multiple complex interview schedules with a high level of detail, accuracy and sense of urgency
•A strong customer service focus to ensure a positive candidate experience
•Outstanding interpersonal skills; you communicate effectively and build strong, productive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, peers, and senior leadership
•Quick learner who thrives in a fast moving, and sometimes ambiguous environment
•High level of integrity and confidentiality with sensitive information
•Prior experience with Google (docs, sheets, calendars), Docusign, MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.  
•Highly organized, self-motivated problem solver
•Proven ability to work cross functionally to achieve desired outcomes.  While you are a key player in ensuring a good candidate experience, there are many other people you will be working with to be successful.  
•Track record of success in managing many projects and programs concurrently.
•Understanding of the unique challenges (and opportunities) or working in a startup environment.  If you crave highly defined processes and structures, be prepared to be a part of the team that creates them.  We like good processes too, but we are a work in progress.  
•A love of working in a team environment.  We all share in the success of one another, and it shows in how we help each other meet objectives.
