We are currently looking for a Technical Recruiter to join the People team at Circle Medical Technologies. As we continue to grow, we are constantly searching for exceptional talent to be a part of our team. This position may be based out of our Montreal, Quebec, San Francisco, CA offices or be remote in the U.S. for the right candidate.

As a Technical Recruiter, you will play a strategic role in the growth of Circle Medical’s engineering, IT and data security departments by sourcing, recruiting and closing bar-raising Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Engineering Leadership, and other related talent.

You will have the opportunity to draw on your extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business; and forge dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and our people team. You will perform candidate generation, client/account management, prioritize your time in an extremely fast-paced environment, push back when needed, and provide amazing customer service.

This role will also require resource management of both internal and external sourcing partners.


  • Manage full cycle recruiting process with a focus on technology roles
  • Oversee the whole applicant life cycle, including post-hire follow-up
  • Assist with setting up new Circle Medical employees for their onboarding
  • Administrative tasks: crafting & updating job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and effectively working with the VP, Ops & People on data & analytics of the hiring process
  • Support hiring managers to build high-performance teams and partner wherever needed
  • Use data and metrics to develop relationships across multiple teams and influence management on hiring decisions
  • Leverage multiple sourcing strategies and channels, including internal referrals, to provide high quality candidates for open positions
  • Identify, engage and secure top talent, including passive and active candidates
  • Screen incoming technical resumes, interview and qualify candidates, facilitate assessment exercises and advocate for candidates with hiring teams
  • Partner with the People Team as needed to drive the offer and onboarding process
  • Be knowledgeable about our business and be on point for HR related questions (i.e. benefits, comp, etc.)
  • Work to improve upon existing programs and develop innovative strategies around finding our future team
  • Provide excellent customer service to our hiring teams and ensure a seamless candidate experience for all potential candidates


  • Strong aptitude for technical roles such as front & back-end engineers, product managers, and designers.
  • Around 2 years experience in either an agency or in-house work environment where technology positions were the focus.
  • Able to maintain talent pipelines, effectively communicating progress updates to all active candidates.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, BambooHR, Indeed, GitHub, X-Ray searches, meetups, and other innovative approaches and other job boards are considered an asset.
  • Exceptional communication - both in a written and spoken context
  • Ability to build a connection with candidates, empathizing with their needs as job seekers.
  • Able to carry out all related administrative tasks, including crafting and maintaining job postings, scheduling interviews, conducting screening interviews, and coordinating calendars
  • Dedication to constantly improving candidate experience, hiring processes, and yourself
  • Time management and prioritization skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner.
  • Communication skills (presentation, verbal, written, etc.); is able to effectively communicate to all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Strong ability in using Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Slides, in particular)
  • Ability to act as a consultant through the hiring process, immigration, compliance, compensation, output levels, etc.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.


  • Direct sourcing experience with a demonstrated ability to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for technical positions at different levels of the organization
  • Experience with Lever ATS
  • Proven track record with other startups or VC funded companies

In alignment with our values, Circle Medical has transparent salaries based on location (San Francisco, Montreal, or remote in US), output levels, and options to trade cash for stock.

This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual salary (cash and stock combined) of $65,000 - 100,000 plus, generous vacation, full medical/dental benefits.
