About This Position

Ellevest is on the mission to get more money in the hands of more women+. Our People team is looking for a talented and passionate People Operations professional eager to join an early stage team entering the next stage of significant growth. You will spend your time focused primarily on technical talent acquisition and employee experience strategies. You have experience building scalable recruiting processes that allow our lean team to work efficiently and effectively to attract diverse, mission and core values aligned candidates by creating an equitable and inclusive recruiting process. You have experience equipping hiring teams with the structure, education, information and tactics to interrupt bias, assess skills, and identify cultural-additions to join our organization.   

As the third member of the Ellevest People team you will contribute to the overall employee experience strategy and approach. You have a passion for creating mission-aligned initiatives and love to collaborate with team members across the organization. You have a hospitable nature and a desire to make others feel welcome and included. 

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Orchestrate equitable hiring processes that reflect the Ellevest mission and values, making recommendations for improvement along the way; manage the candidate experience, start to finish
  • Build scalable talent acquisition processes that support our growing team; optimize hiring processes and ensure that they are progressing efficiently
  • Partner with members of the management and leadership team to determine team growth strategy 
  • Develop Ellevest’s employer brand and talent acquisition best practices 
  • Innovate on important experiences for employees including onboarding processes, learning and development, community initiatives, and remote-first culture

Qualifications 

You have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in technical recruiting environment 
  • Demonstrated success in creating seamless experiences and processes with a thoughtful attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment; this includes working independently and on a team
  • A growth mindset, and eagerness to learn
  • A collaborative approach to problem solving
  • A passion for our mission of getting more money in the hands of more women+
