THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite’s goal of building the marketplace for live experiences relies on our foundation of world-class talent and unbeatable company culture. Hiring top talent in some of the most competitive markets globally is no easy task, but we have a creative and dedicated team who has helped Eventbrite scale to over 700 Britelings in 10 countries over the past 10 years.  We’re looking for experienced Recruiting Managers to join our Talent Acquisition Leadership Team. Leaders who can connect Eventbrite’s vision, mission and story to inspire, coach and mentor the team and evolve Eventbrite’s recruiting processes. You will develop and execute a hiring strategy (keeping diversity at the forefront) for your client groups in the respective regions where they operate (US, EMEA, LATAM). You will work closely with the broader HR & Recruiting team, plus interconnected client groups, to truly understand the hiring needs and priorities. You have led, mentored, and guided a team of recruiters and sourcers through the entire recruiting life cycle while also working closely with leaders to drive a healthy recruiting culture. You will build strong, respectful relationships and help elevate Eventbrite’s employment brand to a highly competitive level - not only for your client groups but more broadly as well.

THE ROLE

As a Recruiting Manager, you are a true coach, leading and developing a team of roughly 4-8 sourcers and recruiters who will thrive from your guidance, mentorship and career coaching. You bring a strong perspective that inspires change and motivates recruiters to develop simple solutions to complex problems. You mastered the art and science of recruiting as an individual contributor and are able to translate your magic and expertise to others. You get the true meaning of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility, visible in who you hire for your team and for Eventbrite. You devise specific actions to ensure your team helps Eventbrite hire a more diverse set of top talent. You own all recruiting for the region, both technical (Eng, Product, Design) and non-technical (Customers, Finance, Marketing, Communication, HR, and Legal). You bring to life innovative recruiting strategies to support the growing needs of the business. You work with business and Talent Acquisition leadership to actively identify and quantify, through workforce planning and tracking, the hiring needs for the functions hiring in your region. You are a catalyst for the group’s hiring strategy and road map, and create success metrics with our other recruiting leaders. You keep the business up to date throughout the hiring cycle presenting information in a way that is accurate and usable by your partners. You view into the talent and competitor landscape such that our decisions and strategies around talent acquisition are informed by the best possible information. 

YOU WILL

  • Experienced: 5+ years of recruiting experience with a deep understanding of each step in the recruitment life cycle (sourcing and recruiting) and knowledge of how to go to market for both technical and nontechnical talent. 2+ years of people management experience as a Recruiting Lead/Manager, with the drive and willingness to engage, coach and collaborate with individuals at all levels.
  • Results Oriented: You have a proven track record of your teams delivering on hiring goals at required pace. You drive recruiting-related initiatives for your teams that support diversity hiring efforts. You effectively balance growth and development of your team with team performance so that the team maintains a highly engaged and connected culture.
  • Strategic: You have an ability to build effective recruiting strategies that contribute to the team’s hiring goals and ensure a healthy pipeline and access to diverse talent. You rely on data to drive decision making and stakeholder management. You connect business hiring priorities to company growth goals ensuring we hire right and not fast and with long term in mind.
  • Innovative: You regularly think outside the box and have an arsenal of ideas on how to best engage and bring together diverse talent, hiring managers, and the opportunity. You will develop creative solutions to problems while proactively ensuring teams are productive.
  • interpersonal communications skills: This role will require a lot of listening and communicating with the team and stakeholders at various levels in the organization to bring everyone along on the journey. The ability to authentically communicate (written and verbally) in a succinct way that ensures clarity and shared goals is essential.
  • Influential: You effectively collaborate and influence across internal stakeholders using data and insights to ensure hiring goals are met and right peripheral work to enable hiring is prioritized appropriately. You have an innate ability to build strong partnerships with leaders at all levels of the organization to enable shared accountability to solve complex problems when necessary.
  • Flexible: You have experience growing teams from good to great and will jump in personally to do the work when a player coach is needed. You have experience with an organization that has undergone significant growth, change, and/or international expansion.
