We are looking to hire a Senior Recruiter for our client, a Series A Fintech startup on a mission to revolutionize the outdated mortgage industry by letting people shop, compare, and close any mortgage option from any lender, completely online.

Some sample projects you'll work on:

  • Partner with the Head of People to implement their overall recruiting strategy.
  • Manage the full life-cycle recruitment process for multiple open positions including developing job descriptions, posting positions, sourcing prospective talent, screening and interviewing candidates and assisting with the closing process.
  • Utilize reliable selection and evaluation metrics to screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, qualifications, technical and soft skills, and interests.
  • Ensure a seamless, uniform and incredibly positive candidate experience.
  • Build a talent pipeline and recruit in a variety of methods; creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best talent to the company.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of hiring managers. Coach and teach these leaders as they develop more effective interviewing, assessment and closing skills.
  • Prioritize a diverse and inclusive company through an equitable hiring process, taking steps to identify and counter potential biases in the sourcing and evaluation of candidates.

What are you like? 

  • 4+ years of full-cycle experience in a recruiting or talent acquisition role. Experience recruiting for technical as well as non-technical positions is preferred. A mix of agency and in-house experience is a plus!
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with. You have the ability to understand business objectives and culture and translate these to hiring requirements.
  • A proven record of successfully recruiting for positions at various levels, negotiating compensation packages, and competing for valuable candidates.
  • Ability to operate well in a fast moving environment and provide team clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • You love to build and have a relentless drive to find and connect with the best talent.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment is preferred. 
  • You embrace and are inspired to be a key driver of the company's mission.
