Overview
Assists with implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans as created by the Applied Behavior Analysis department.Provides timely emergency services with emphasis on de-escalation to prevent crisis events from occurring. As directed, communicates with external sources and clinical/ABA team as needed to ensure positive coordination of care and customer satisfaction is occurring as well as resident's primary guardian or family members are kept in the loop.When risky events occur with residents, assists information over to Management on Call (MOC) while minimizing risk of community involvement.Ensures stabilization of the residents as quickly as possible. Manages critical incident reports in a timely fashion as set forth by funding sources: Send to AFC, ORR, licensing agent etc. within required timelines. Facilitate information seeking and answers from AFC, ORR, licensing agent, etc.Provides screening geared toward addressing the immediate needs of residents experiencing crises. Arrange emergency transportation as needed. Streamlines and coordinate assessment, triage, and referral to outside emergency resources, as needed.Ensuring Crisis Coordinator checklists are being completed in terms of residential facilities, residential engagement, staffing numbers, shift reports, etc.Certified CPI trainer to train new staff and annual refresher courses. Must stay on for one year as a CPI trainer or reimburse EC for the trainer fees.
Crisis Coordinator Qualifications and Education Requirements:
MA/MS in Clinical Counseling or MS in Social WorkClinical experience with CMH populationExperience with implementation of behavioral programsExperience training staff in behavioral analytic principles and proceduresCritical thinking, problem solving, and strong computer skills

Work Schedule: Tuesday-Sat: 3-11pm (B shift) or Wednesday-Sun: 3-11pm (B shift)
Salary: $58,000-$60,000
