About the Role:Reliable Power Alternatives Corporation (RPAC) is seeking a full time Energy Analyst to join our growing consulting team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years experience in an analyst role at a company that provided retail energy brokerage services for electric and natural gas customers. The analyst role requires excellent organizational skills, client management, analytical and communications skills. The Energy Analyst position requires direct interface with clients daily. The position requires frequent communication with the entire analytics team as well as senior management. This is a permanent position will be based in one of our two offices: Garden City, NY, or Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Market Analytics and indirectly to other senior management of the firm.
About the Company:RPAC is an advisory/consulting firm specializing in managing procurement of electricity and natural gas for its clients, since 2001. RPAC specializes in all aspects market analysis, contract negotiation, and energy procurement for some of the largest energy users in the US & CA. RPAC relies on quality client service for its ongoing business.

Responsibilities:Manage time sensitive workflow including meeting tight deadlines, generating all reports and analyses, and ensuring execution of retail energy arrangementsCommunicate with members of senior management on a regular basis regarding workflowCommunicate with clients regarding task completion and strategy development and executionManage data import to ensure integrity and completion of client tasksLiaise with suppliers to negotiate terms and conditions of retail energy arrangementsMaintain and update inter-office reports
Desired Education, Skills & Experience:Demonstrated energy analyst and analytical experienceDemonstrated knowledge of wholesale energy markets and related subject matter2 -4
years analyst experience in a retail energy advisory and/or brokerage business environmentBachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Science, Master’s Degree (preferred)Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Expert in Excel, Word, and MailAttention to detail a mustExcellent time management skills and ability to balance multiple tasksAbility to self-start within the atmosphere of a fast-paced team-oriented environment
