Overview
1. Experience performing records review, data extraction and/or management duties.2. Knowledge of office procedures, including a computerized records management system that enables scanning, profiling, and retrieving of documents. Proficiency is required in the use of a variety of computer software programs and related equipment. Work will involve long periods of visual contact on visual display terminals.3. Ability to accurately type proofread and edits technical and general information.4. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with program resources.5. Ability to acquire and retain knowledge of The City organization and policies and procedures.7. Respond courteously and constructively to requests, and to respond to inquiries by providing appropriate information and/or directing to appropriate person.8. Ability to use initiative in implementing new procedures regarding records management and plan storage.9. Employ good judgement, organizational and time management techniques to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.10. Ability to be a self-motivated, retain concentration, and work independently with frequent interruptions in order to process a considerable workload within established time frames.
