The Recruiter role requires a creative, go-getter, and methodical approach to talent acquisition, employer branding, and candidate experience programs and systems. The ideal candidate must be able to successfully manage and enrich the candidate experience within a fast-paced startup environment. This Recruiter will manage the full recruiting cycle for his or her assigned open positions. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and positivity to every open position and be able to operate both autonomously and in collaboration with everyone from new hires to hiring managers to executive team members. In collaboration with the TA team, this Recruiter will drive Sentieo’s talent acquisition strategies and show passion and dedication for partnering with our leaders to grow our business. This role will report to our VP of Global Human Capital. This is New York City based position that is currently a hybrid role.
YOUR OPPORTUNITIES
- Create, update, and maintain job descriptions and job specifications
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc
- Screen candidate resumes and job applications
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partner on the offer and onboarding processes
- Monitor and apply HR and TA best practices
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Partner with Hiring Managers on the recruitment process
- Take ownership of the candidate journey and ensure an excellent candidate experience
YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university
- 1-3 years of experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
- Ability to assess candidate’s alignment with the role requirements and the team and company culture
- Hands-on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check, etc)
- Experience with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Lever and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred
- Hunter mentality in a high demand environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making and persuasion skills
- Interest in an innovative and startup environment
