Top Hat, one of Canada's fastest growing tech companies, is in high growth mode and looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team 6 (soon to be 7) awesome recruiters. On the Top Hat recruiting team you will feel supported and stretched by the people around you; we have fostered a team culture of learning from each other with daily stand ups where we solve recruiting challenges as a group. This also opens the door for you to play a mentorship role as you become more senior. As a Technical Recruiter, you will get to work with senior and experienced directors & VPs of eng who are a big draw for our candidates. Lastly, we have an incredible and nobel mission. You Will:

  • Manage full cycle recruitment from sourcing to close
  • Support our recruitment efforts across our technical departments in the organization, including: engineering & product
  • Use your sourcing skills to create a high-quality candidate pipeline
  • Use our ATS (Lever) throughout the recruitment cycle to manage the candidate process 
  • Provide support to internal stakeholders ensuring that the recruiting process runs smoothly and transparently
  • Give each candidate and hiring manager a great experience

You Are:

  • Experienced, with years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-velocity recruiting environment
  • A university graduate with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Coachable & motivated to learn and become a better recruiter each day
  • Highly self-motivated, with an ability to execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized with a great attention to detail; able to manage a high volume of candidates and multiple roles simultaneously
  • Able to quickly establish credibility, trust, and maintain confidentiality
  • A strong communicator that responds quickly and efficiently to candidates and stakeholders throughout the interview progress
  • A team player, strong at developing relationships internally with hiring managers, team members, and Top Hatters across the organization
