Visa is seeking a Vice President, Executive Talent Acquisition across global markets. This individual will lead a team of 15+ talent attraction professionals and work closely with Visa’s Executive leadership team. He/She will operate as a trusted advisor, functioning as a talent acquisition expert. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating challenging forces in the dynamic payments space and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with significant change; employing only the necessary talent acquisition processes that enable the organization to innovate and grow.

  • Lead executive talent acquisition delivery for Visa globally
  • Drive development of talent marketing strategy and execution in alignment with Visa’s hiring priorities and employer brand initiatives
  • Ensure the talent marketing strategy is driven by data about the talent marketplace and marketing effectiveness
  • Be a thought leader in the talent acquisition space and develop/drive best practices and innovation throughout our organization and with our clients
  • Cultivate strong relationships with People leadership and other senior stakeholders
  • Provide proactive and strategic guidance and support for organizational planning and development initiatives that align the People agenda in support of key business strategies and initiatives
  • Drive an effective client-service talent acquisition team that instills company-wide trust and value for the People function and must be able to deliver with operational excellence
  • Ensure that strategic human capital goals and initiatives in client groups align as appropriate cross the broader organization and that talent acquisition costs and services are aligned with organizational goals

Basic Qualifications
• 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 10-15 progressive experience in talent acquisition strongly preferred
• 10+ years of human resources leadership with exposure to an innovative business, one that continues to reinvent their business proposition. Industry is open with a preference for the consumer, financial services or technology industry. Multi-company experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of building trust and credibility with senior executives
• Strong consulting skills with demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders at all levels
• Exceptional communication skills and professional judgement
• Ability to cut through complexity and deliver results, particularly under ever-changing circumstances
• Resilient and resourceful.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with exceptional organizational skills.
• Experience in a growing global business and positive reputation for working effectively across levels of an organization
• MBA preferred

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
