Camera Hardware Engineering Program Manager

Description
- Define and drive execution of build plans for multiple module integrators and component suppliers.
- Serve as the primary lead during module development and advocate for optimal module performance.
- Responsible for ensuring camera and depth sensing modules are developed on schedule.
- Engage in proactive risk management and communicate status and issues to the development team and Apple executives.
- Coordinate efforts of hardware, software, mechanical engineering, and operations teams to design, manufacture, and integrate camera and laser modules for Apple’s product line.
- Ability to travel internationally to support builds if required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience in designing camera hardware or related optical systems OR project management experience in a similar field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep technical engineering knowledge to establish and manage project and operational KPIs, assess technical risks, and challenge engineering decisions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple global contract manufacturers and vendors effectively.
- Ability to focus and bring transparency to complex situations while considering the bigger picture and rapid development cycles.
- Skilled at managing accountability without direct control, prioritizing among multiple issues.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of camera module design and key components.
- Familiarity with the consumer product lifecycle.
