Come join our team.Perform colorectal and other general surgeries.We are seeking a candidate with broad clinical experience in general/colorectal surgery with a particular interest in complex anorectal disease, oncology, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis and pelvic floor dysfunction. Specializing in invasive procedures in the colon and rectal areas, as well as general operations on the digestive tract.The candidate must be MD or DO, Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery AND Board Certified/Eligible in Colorectal Surgery with experience in all aspects of the evaluation and treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the intestines, colon, rectum and anus including minimally invasive approaches of robotic and laparoscopic surgery as well as trans anal minimally invasive surgery.Provide and maintain a high level of quality care services in all aspects of Colorectal Surgery.Diagnose and treat illnesses involving the colon and related areas, or conditions caused by colorectal diseases.Assess patient history and symptoms, review test results, pronounce a diagnosis, and establish a recommended treatment plan. Perform surgical procedures that are often intricate or complex.Assist in marketing the General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery Programs to community physicians and managed care organizations.Participate in monthly division meetings, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested.Provide clinical teaching of trainees in General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery and participate in the educational program.As an EOE/AA employer, the organization will not discriminate in its employment practices due to an applicant's race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, and veteran or disability status.
