Your New Role:
CNN is seeking an exceptional and strategic Vice President of Revenue Operations to be a pivotal leader in driving our digital revenue growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape CNN's monetization strategies, bringing operational excellence and data-driven rigor to our diverse digital products and services.
You will work closely with senior leaders in Growth, Product, Advertising, Finance, Data, and Business Development to build a cohesive, insight-led revenue engine that supports and propels CNN's long-term growth strategy.
Your Role Accountabilities:
- Revenue Partner Management: Lead and empower a high-performing team responsible for managing partnerships with vendors in content recommendation, sponsored content, performance marketing, programmatic advertising, and other revenue streams.
- Holistic User Monetization: Collaborate with Data, Revenue, Advertising, and Business Development teams to understand and optimize revenue across various sources and digital surfaces, maximizing lifetime value.
- Strategic Revenue Leadership: Develop and execute integrated revenue strategies across digital subscriptions, advertising, and emerging monetization opportunities.
- Process Optimization & Standardization: Continuously assess and improve revenue processes across the customer lifecycle to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Ensure alignment across teams on go-to-market strategies and digital monetization initiatives, aligning with strategic objectives.
- Executive Business Insights: Support strategic decision-making with presentations and insights for business reviews, collaborating with Strategy, Finance, and Data teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
- 12+ years in digital media, business operations, or related fields
- Proven success in revenue growth strategies
- Strong analytical skills and data interpretation capabilities
- Experience managing digital media partnerships and vendor relations
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior executives
- Deep understanding of digital advertising, content monetization, and emerging revenue models
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment

In compliance with local law, we disclose salary ranges where required. The pay range for this role is $175,000 - $325,000 annually, with additional benefits including bonuses, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.
