Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Coordinator located near the DHS St. Elizabeths Campus in Washington, D.C. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating and implementing social media content based on strategic communication objectives, managing social media campaigns and reporting, and engaging with audiences on various platforms. Day-to-day tasks include crafting social media content calendars, ideating posts with imagery and strong copywriting, coordinating along with other digital communication/marketing efforts, and collaborating with team members to enhance brand presence and engagement. Preferred Skills Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing experience Demonstrated use of multiple social media platforms and related software programs Ability to develop and execute social media strategies Ability to track social media analytics and performance metrics Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, Communications, or a related field Experience in advertising or public relations is a plus 3-5 years of experience -Experience in advertising or public relations is a plus -Experience in stakeholder analysis, communication impact assessment, and digital metrics tracking is a plus -Experience working with executive leadership and supporting agency-level communications strategies is a plus Seniority level
