The Lead Psychiatrist at Abilene State Supported Living Center performs advanced psychiatric work under supervision, directing patient examinations, diagnoses, and treatments. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and overseeing psychiatric treatment services
- Participating in patient Interdisciplinary Team (IDT)
- Developing and implementing customized treatment plans
- Reviewing and monitoring psychiatric care quality
- Providing staff guidance and training
Key Requirements:
- MD license in Texas, Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry
- 3+ years of psychiatry experience
- Experience with mental illness and intellectual disabilities preferred
