Job Description
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian for 4hrs/week (50% remote)!
Join our dynamic team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a leading Dietitian Nutritionist Consulting firm providing expert services to healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently looking for a passionate Registered Dietitian to be a part of our growing team for a part-time position in the area for a hybrid-remote assignment.
Schedule:
Flexible, Monday-Friday during normal business hours with only 2 onsite visits per month and the remaining hours completed remotely via telehealth.
Hours:
4 hrs per week; two onsite visits per month
Compensation:
$30.00-$36.00 per hour, based on experience.
Commute Compensation:
Paid at your hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments,
including screening for and addressing co-occurring mental health conditions, substance-related deficiencies, medication side effects, and disordered eating behaviors (anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder). Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
tailored to each patient's specific needs, considering substance use history, co-occurring mental health conditions, and the impact of medications on appetite and metabolism. Provide nutrition education and counseling Collaborate closely with IDT team Monitor patient progress
and adjust care plans as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
in accordance with all relevant regulations and HIPAA guidelines. Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program. Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state) Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred). Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement. Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions. Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations Competency in electronic charting systems
