Our Development internship focuses on our Development responsibilities including feasibility & market analysis, benchmarking, research and underwriting. It allows interns to combine their analytical and communication skills across all facets of Development. The Development team is responsible for:
Working diligently with the Investments team to analyze development opportunities at Pre-AcquisitionOverseeing each step of active deals through TurnoverManaging and Maintaining Internal and External PartnershipsBenchmarking key information for comparing future dealsUnderwriting development opportunitiesTaking ownership of the development budgetStandardizing to align how information is provided by partnersAnalyzing partner performanceConducting site/land visits and market assessmentsSelecting Contractors and ConsultantsEducating Investment team members on the development processUnderstanding market supply and demand fundamentals
