About the Role:
Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Technical Architect
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The Technical / Solution Architect will work collaboratively with the sales/project team, partners and clients to successfully scope and implement B2B ecommerce solutions including B2B partner portals, ecommerce storefront solutions, etc.
• Provide architecture and design for implementations, perform fit-gap analysis between business requirements and design the configuration, customizations, extensions, and interfaces required to meet the requirements
• Responsible for the over-all solution architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance of eCommerce B2B web sites
• B2B Architect architects and design leading ecommerce solutions that support industry leading best practices as recommended by Salesforce
• Well versed with eCommerce architecture (both B2B as well as B2C), product, order and inventory flows in order to create detailed designs, architectural documents, and develop complex applications
• Work with Sales Force B2B Commerce Cloud and partners for any site changes, Lead project discovery and definition workshops
• Ability to create scope and development estimates, and documenting requirements and designs
• Be an expert, coach and mentoring partners, customers and developers through the implementation lifecycle
• Provide technical problem resolution to complex issues
• Ability to develop best practices, assets / frameworks to help team learn B2B Commerce and develop offerings to help customers with Salesforce and related clouds/ technologies like Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Consumer Good Clouds, etc.
QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred and strong working experience with eCommerce and Digital transformation
• Total experience 13+ years with minimum of 5+ years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B) experience (5+ medium to complex B2B commerce implementations)
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex end-to-end ecommerce solutions with ability to provide expert guidance in an agile work environment
• Experience of integrating payment portals, credit check systems, inventory management systems, ERPs, etc.
• Prior experience leading and working with geographically dispersed development teams
• Technical review of artifacts related to Code, design and guide team in right direction
• Working knowledge of corporate retail environment is a plus including implementing headless based architecture
• Knowledge of SQL Commands and Procedures
• Batch file scripting experience
• Able to work in onsite-offshore model with needed sync-up calls to clarify the requirement/design queries, Able to mentor team members in helping them learn Salesforce B2B Commerce
TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:
• Back-end technologies including integration platforms
§ Strong technical experience in production with Salesforce B2B commerce Cloud (previously CloudCraze)
§ Salesforce Admin and Platform Dev Certified - must have
§ Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Certified - must have
§ Salesforce Experience Cloud certified - must have
§ Relational Databases such as Microsoft SQL and Oracle
§ Build processes and tools (ANT, Maven, automated builds, continuous builds)
§ Source control processes & tools (Subversion and Mercurial)
§ Web technologies, J2EE, Java, SOA, application servers, portal servers, middleware, ecommerce, enterprise application integration, databases, security, performance & scalability
• Front-end technologies including
§ JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, JQuery, JavaScript UI frameworks, JAVA, .NET, SQL, SQL procedures and scripting
