Cybersecurity Analyst – Municipal Agency (On-Site | Pomona, CA) $95,000–$120,000 base + full benefits Join a mission-driven municipal organization in Pomona working to protect public infrastructure. We’re hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen our client’s security posture across networks, cloud, and internal systems. What You’ll Do Monitor and respond to security threats and incidents Perform vulnerability scans and support remediation efforts Manage SIEM alerts, logs, and forensic investigations Enforce compliance with NIST, SOC 2, and other standards Support endpoint protection, DLP, IAM, and firewall operations Collaborate with IT and SOC teams on proactive threat defense What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of cybersecurity or SOC experience Hands-on with tools like Splunk, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection Familiarity with AWS or other cloud security environments Understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or similar frameworks U.S. Citizenship required (federal contract compliance) Must be local to Southern California and available to work on-site 5 days/week This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with growth potential and a high-impact mission.
