Providing high-quality RN care in post-acute facilitiesCollaborating with medical staff and residents to develop care plansTracking outcomes and reviewing options with physicians and other nursing staffAdministering and supervising appropriate treatments and medications to residentsMaking sure medical equipment is properly set up and monitoredInforming residents and family members about best care optionsDrawing blood, urine, and other fluids for lab workEnsuring staff compliance with facility policies and nursing standardsVerifying the accurate documentation of medical histories and interventionsSupervising nurses and support staff, providing training as neededAssisting with incident investigations
