NWCC is seeking a Network Technician. The Network Technician will assist faculty and staff in solving hardware, software, and network/communications related problems. Responsible for maintaining personal computers and peripherals in offices and classrooms; including new installations, moves, upgrades and repairs. Other responsibilities assigned by the IT Manager. Will assist other IT staff as needed, for example, troubleshooting access control readers, audio visual installs, security camera installs and VOIP phones. Position is for the Senatobia campus-may be required to rotate between other campuses.
QUALIFICATIONS:Proficiency with Windows OS, Office 365, system config, loading and configuring softwareHardware repair experience with personal computers, and HP printers requiredNetwork experience in a TCP/IP Ethernet switched environment a plus.Associates Degree in a Computer Technology field preferred.One or more years work experience in an IT environment considered in lieu of an Associate's DegreeDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
