In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end design, deployment, and support of unified communications environments—covering voice, video, and cloud/on-prem solutions. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, high-performance technical team delivering seamless experiences for enterprise clients. Responsibilities: Architect and deploy Cisco UC solutions, including CUCM, Unity, Webex, and Expressway Administer and support session border controllers (SBCs), gateways, and SIP trunk configurations Partner with networking, wireless, and security teams to deliver integrated client solutions Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex collaboration issues Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support critical systems Maintain accurate and professional documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and client training materials Track support requests and project time in alignment with service protocols Requirements: Advanced knowledge of Cisco UC tools: CUCM, Unity, Webex, and Expressway Deep expertise in SIP, SBCs, voice routing, and gateway technologies Familiarity with adjacent technologies, such as routing/switching, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure Strong communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Hands-on experience with Cisco collaboration platforms Solid understanding of voice-over-IP, QoS, VLANs, and firewall fundamentals Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Sales and Engineering Industries Telecommunications and IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at GNR - Global Network Recruiting by 2x Get notified about new Solutions Architect jobs in Connecticut, United States .
