CRNA Responsibilities
Administer general anesthesia and sedation, ensuring patient safety
Evaluate patients' physical status and tailor anesthesia plans to surgical needs
Manage airways and monitor patient responses to anesthetic agents
Transport patients safely to the operating room and Post-Anesthesia Recovery Unit or ICU with thorough reporting
Proficient in using anesthesia agents like glycopyrrolate and neostigmine, with the ability to handle reversals and float as needed
CRNA Requirements
3-4 years experience in outpatient settings, preferably in a level-1 trauma hospital
BSN degree and graduate of an approved anesthesia program
Georgia State RN License required
