We are currently looking for a Recruiter to join the People team at Circle Medical Technologies. As we continue to grow, we are constantly searching for exceptional talent to be a part of our team. This position may be based out of our Montreal, Quebec, San Francisco, CA offices or be remote in the U.S. for the right candidate.

As a Recruiter, you will have the autonomy to partner with our hiring managers directly to identify the resources needed to accomplish our business objectives. You will have the opportunity to develop our company’s hiring process by recommending new policies and practices, to ensure smooth sailing for the candidates, as well as the interviewers.

Our ideal Recruiter is comfortable with taking initiative and utilizing existing tools to source and discover new ways to engage candidates. You will work in a transparent and collaborative environment to develop hiring strategies to drive creative approaches for recruiting top talent across the company. At Circle Medical, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company by helping us grow the team with exceptional individuals.


  • Execute full-cycle recruitment
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meet with managers to discuss needs
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport
  • Develop and implement various recruitment strategies to attract top talent and promote our open positions via different social and professional platforms
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Create strong job descriptions and outreach messages to attract top talent
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Manage offer negotiations, references, and background checks
  • Stay informed with talent market updates and share insights with hiring managers, such as salary ranges, new recruitment tools, and resources
  • Provide positive candidate experience through fast response, follow-ups, and constructive feedback whether they were hired or not
  • Support the entire recruitment function and be the lead admin in Lever
  • Support more junior recruiters or those at lower outputs
  • Be an ATS master and update job postings
  • Own your success metrics/OKRs and pull weekly reporting
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership


  • Direct sourcing experience with a demonstrated ability to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for a variety of positions at different levels of the organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion to work, network, connect with people and build genuine professional relationships
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to spearhead closing strategies, and build strong candidate relationships to better understand their decision motivators
  • Ability to collaborate with hiring managers to develop innovative methods of recruiting


  • Previous experience with Lever 
  • Proven track record with other startups or VC funded companies

In alignment with our values, Circle Medical has transparent salaries based on location (San Francisco, Montreal, or remote in the US), output levels, and options to trade cash for stock.

This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual salary (cash and stock combined) of $66,000- $100,000 USD plus, generous vacation, and full medical/dental benefits.
