We’re looking for a Technical Sourcer with a keen focus on inclusivity to partner closely with our Engineering and Product teams to help them scale. You’ll resourcefully identify and source exceptional candidates, with an emphasis on communicating Everlaw’s value proposition to candidates from underrepresented groups and identifying job boards, networks, universities, and events to help build diverse pipelines. And your work will matter - our company’s mission is centered around promoting justice and we’re looking for someone who will raise their hand and their voice as an advocate for inclusive hiring processes.

Talent acquisition is a key pillar under our Operations organization, which provides the foundation for the company to function and scale gracefully. This is a full-time non-exempt position based in our Oakland, California office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home Tu/Fr.

Getting started

  • We want you to feel like part of the team early on! Our onboarding process will integrate you into the company with informative sessions on our product, policies, processes, and team structure and goals. 
  • We’re excited for you to learn, grow, and contribute right away! We trust that you’ll bring experience and knowledge that will uplift and uplevel the team, but we don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1.

In your role, you’ll...

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to develop strategies to activate passive candidates for Engineering and Product positions, with a focus on candidates from underrepresented groups.
  • Creatively source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and other methods; and provide an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Manage the resume review process for Software Engineer applicants.
  • Identify job boards, university resources, professional networks, and events to generate awareness for open positions.
  • Become an ambassador for Everlaw both internally and externally.
  • Participate in university career fairs and events.
  • Support the Recruiting Team with other DEI Roadmap initiatives as needed.
  • Contribute to the growth of the company and the success of our mission by helping to hire new Everlawyers who align with our values and succeed in their roles.

About You

  • You have at least 2 years of recruiting experience at an agency or in-house, including sourcing for engineering and/or product roles. 
  • You have demonstrated success engaging sourced/passive candidates and are excited to think outside the box when it comes to attracting new candidates. 
  • You are passionate about partnering with hiring managers to build diverse teams and believe that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are fundamental to a company’s success.   
  • You have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for process improvements, and an inclination towards using data to drive decision-making.
