About the opportunity:

Our recruiting team at N26 is shifting its focus from successful hypergrowth to scalability, flexibility, and sustainability. We are now looking for a Global Head of Tech Recruiting to build an award winning tech TA function that will strategically grow our global tech organisation and lead, develop, and grow our team of high-performing tech recruiters across Berlin, Barcelona and Vienna.

This role reports directly into the Global Director of Recruiting and you will be working alongside colleagues from leadership recruiting, organisational development, employer branding, candidate experience, and operational excellence. This role can be based in Berlin or Barcelona.

In this role you will:

Lead: Lead, coach and develop a team of talented tech recruiters while enabling them to become talent experts, advisors and partners to the business. You will rally the team to your recruitment vision in building a world class recruitment experience while helping remove obstacles and empowering them to work independently. Most importantly, you will help the team find a career path and not just a job.

Partner: Become a strategic business partner for our c-level tech and product leadership to align business growth with recruiting strategies, advising and guiding stakeholders with market intelligence and data. You will also partner with internal stakeholders, including people analytics, global recruitment counterparts, candidate experience, people tech and employer branding teams to create and implement a cohesive recruiting experience.

Deliver: Define and implement the global tech recruitment roadmap. You will also set-up the team KPI’s and focus on ways to improve efficiency as well as reaching our ambitious hiring goals. You will also guide your team on how to use analytical inputs to their advantage and develop a data-driven approach across the team.

Improve: You are responsible for continuously reviewing and improving our recruitment processes to ensure they are agile, scalable, and best-in-class in consultation with your team.

What you need to be successful:


  • 5-8 years’ experience in leading tech recruiting teams in in-house roles, ideally in growth-oriented tech companies


  • Proven ability to operate effectively and adapt to a very fast moving, developing and constantly changing company
  • Exceptional analytical skills and data insights while partnering with in-house analytics teams to tackle tough business challenges
  • Expertise in manage multiple, complex tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately for maximizing business impact
  • The knowledge to build, manage and inspire high performing teams with your sound leadership capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a multicultural environment
