Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist your main responsibility will be to assist in the sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding process for all of our full-time National Account Executive openings (Sales Division).

We are looking for someone with a background in sales, staffing, corporate recruiting, or a mix of sales and recruiting experience. Seeking an individual that is eager and able to find, attract, recruit, and hire the best sales talent in the nation to join our Townsquare Interactive team!

What is a Talent Acquisition Specialist?

  • This is a position where you will solely recruit and hiring Sales Professionals to join Townsquare Interactive here in our Uptown Charlotte, NC office (this is a 100% in-office role)
  • We only hire full-time employees to join our growing TSI family!

What’s the difference between Corporate Recruiting and Staffing?

  • This is not a staffing role. We do not hire temp or temp-to-perm employees.
  • We only offer full-time positions with a 40hr/wk schedule, base salary, uncapped monthly bonus potential, and world class benefit package to those we recruit.
  • Our recruiters are not responsible for selling or running a “full desk”
  • You will only be responsible for recruiting functions (not sales tasks)
  • We only hire and grow our internal business!
  • As a Corporate Recruiters, you have the freedom and ability to schedule interviews with the candidates you like!
  • No submitting candidates, no need to get approval to schedule an interview
  • You are the one that determines if a candidate is a fit for an internal interview!

Responsibilities

Daily recruiting responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with managers to define recruitment strategy to find best talent based on business needs
  • Source high quality sales candidates through job boards such as such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, networking, cold calling and other creative sources tactics
  • Reviewing applicants and responding accordingly
  • Making 50+ outbound cold and warm calls daily to active/passive job seekers
  • Follow up recruiting calls, emails, scheduling phone interviews
  • Running 3-5 phone interviews per day
  • Advancing candidates and scheduling in-house interviews with Hiring Director
  • Keep detailed records of interview feedback
  • Extending job offers, rejecting job seekers based off Hiring Director decisions
  • Facilitate the onboarding process and general HR functions including ensuring candidates sign offer letters, complete onboarding paperwork, pass a criminal background check completion

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of high-volume sales and/or recruiting experience
    • Background in B2C or B2B cold calling sales is a plus, but not required
    • Background in recruiting for challenging sales roles is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent negotiation skills and effective organizational skills
  • Strong team orientation, competitiveness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Proven track record of exceeding goals
