We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Parter based out of Chicago, Boston or Miami to join the People Team and someone who will also be our Community Ambassador for the US team! People are TravelPerk's main asset and we are looking for someone who wants to make an impact scaling our Sales, Marketing and other business functions and building our culture. We need someone who is not afraid to try out of the box ideas, who knows how to use data to drive decisions and who loves giving employees and candidates a 7 star experience. You will thrive at TravelPerk if you are ambitious, take ownership and enjoy a fast pace.

You will:

  • Be hiring world class talent and a lot of it!  
  • Support all US recruitment and be part of expanding our European team too
  • Focus on quality of hire and ensure our recruitment process assesses candidates in a fair and effective manner
  • Build data reports to keep our leadership team up to speed on your progress
  • Actively source candidates from around the world  
  • Work on Community Team and People Team projects to improve how we work, provide a great employee experience and sync with our global hubs
  • Revolutionize processes and share best practices with the whole team
  • Work closely with recruitment coordinators 
  • Use employment branding and creative recruiting to stand out and attract the best
  • Ensure we train our interviews to mitigate unconscious bias and bring diverse talent to TravelPerk

You will have:

  • A “my hire is your hire mentality”, we are a team and you need to want to win as a team
  • Experience as a 360 Recruiter hiring outstanding talent for a fast growing company
  • Expertise in commercial roles with the flexibility to take on other business critical roles when needed
  • A track record in getting involved in company culture activities such as socials, events and team building
  • A real passion for Talent Acquisition and a desire to grow your career within the field of recruitment 
  • Lots of examples of how you have improved processes and increased velocity 
  • Experience dealing with high volume or hyper growth hiring 
  • Proven ability to attract global talent using innovative sourcing techniques
  • Ownership when it comes end to end recruitment, building stakeholder relationships and updating senior management
  • A test and learn mentality, you won't be afraid to fail, pivot and learn and you will have the humility to share your learning with the team
  • A data driven mindset to remove blockers quickly 
  • A focus on quality of hire rather than time to hire 
  • A stand out work ethic, people see you as a top talent and key team player 
  • Amazing collaboration skills and someone who has a sense of humor, we deal with a very fast pace so we like to have fun along the way :)

Flexible Work Plan

  • You will need to be based in one of our hub locations: Boston, Chicago, or Miami
  • Traveling to your office hub twice per week
  • In addition, about every quarter you will be required to travel to a separate office hub location for up to 5 days to meet with your whole team
  • We have flexible working hours to fit around your life
  • Team members that want to go to the office more are welcome to!
