Human Resources Generalist

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the HR Manager in all HR relevant matters for our US business
  • Advising employees in all day to day questions such as benefits, absence management, policies / procedures
  • Supporting the recruitment process (application management, interview scheduling, writing contracts)
  • Executing the new starter and onboarding process (e.g. visa, background screening, welcoming new employees)
  • Handling all payroll and benefits activities
  • Preparing documentation in connection with regular administrative processes, especially preparation of standard paperwork (e.g. reference letters, filling forms, insurances, reports etc.) and ensuring that the electronic personal employee files are up to date accordingly
  • Collaborating in projects such as digitalization and proactive optimization of processes
  • All activities require constantly strong cooperation, communication and reporting with the Human Resources Department in Europe

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and experience of delivering high quality service in a fast paced environment
  • Sound knowledge of good administrative practices, with ability to suggest and implement improvements
  • High capacity for managing multiple tasks / priorities, seeing them through to completion and identifying key activities for urgent action
  • High level of confidence and commitment, also beyond one's own area of responsibility
  • Able to work independently on defined tasks, seeking advice where appropriate
  • Trustworthy and familiar with dealing with highly confidential information
  • Excellent MS office skills - to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
