The Impact You’ll Make
As a Technical Recruiter, you will partner closely with Hiring Managers and the TA team to provide your expertise and thought leadership on people and recruiting-related strategy and execution. You should be thoughtful, resourceful, strategic and also willing to roll up your sleeves. We strive to give every employee and candidate a genuine, transparent and neighborly experience while building a strong community.
You will be a critical partner in building teams and to the overall success of Nextdoor. You should be excited to bring your experience and expertise every day in order to:
- Drive full-cycle recruiting efforts for a range technical positions
- Work closely and cross-functionally with hiring managers to: assess recruiting needs, understand job requirements, and develop job descriptions for each position; and tailor/refine recruitment process as-needed
- Guide candidates and hiring managers through interview processes, resulting in outcomes all parties are satisfied with
- Build pipelines of qualified, high-caliber candidates using creative and effective sourcing strategies
- Track candidates through Greenhouse ATS for reporting and metrics
- Engage, contact, and manage candidate experience throughout recruitment process, through close and pre-start
- Close: effectively, creatively and competitively
- Effectively communicate the Nextdoor mission, culture and roadmap to a broad range of candidates, prospects and industry professionals
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- 3+ years experience full-cycle recruitment for a technology company
- Proven track record of hiring exceptional candidates across technical disciplines
- Passion for the Nextdoor mission and purpose
- Strong organizational, presentation, and influencing skills
- Excellent communication: written, oral, in-person and on the phone
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
