Duration: Full-Time
WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH, YOU'LL
- Build relationships with the recruiting team, engineering managers, engineers, PM team, and Novans in general
- Share observations and recommendations on current technical recruiting practices
- Begin to plug into current open technical roles
WITHIN THE FIRST QUARTER, YOU'LL
- Set monthly hiring goals to meet needed company growth and execute while maintaining DEI top of mind
- Collaborate with engineering and recruiting to build top of funnel
- Develop comprehensive metrics to be shared on a regular cadence with engineering and leadership
- Make changes to build an inclusive and objective hiring process so candidates are assessed against the appropriate competencies
WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR, YOU'LL
- Double the size of the current engineering team
- Create documentation to onboard new technical hiring managers
- Embed new processes into Nova Credit’s recruiting DNA to make a more efficient and equitable hiring process
YOUR SKILLSET
- 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting with a strong track record of closing senior and/or “hard to fill” roles
- Solid experience sourcing a diverse pool of candidates through multiple creative channels (via LinkedIn Recruiter, Github, StackOverflow, Quora, etc.)
- Strong understanding of technical terminology, tools, and platforms in order to speak knowledgeably to both hiring managers and candidates
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills - you have a customer-focused attitude to deliver the best candidate experience
- You take a consultative approach with hiring managers and aim for win/win outcomes by leveraging data, market insights, and creative ideas
- A desire in building the technical organizations that take into account holistic team composition and long-term vision
