Job Description

As Director, Head of Talent Acquisition (TA), reporting directly to our VP of Talent, you’ll have the opportunity to own and lead the US-based TA function of a fast-growth e-commerce leader, partnering cross-functionally and with senior leaders to drive strategic TA initiatives and deliver on long-term workforce plans.  In sum, you’ll be responsible for growing the team that’s changing the way people eat forever.

What You'll Do

  • Set the strategic direction and goals for our growing Talent Acquisition team 
  • Build and implement innovative recruiting approaches, systems, tools, and processes
  • Partner with our AD, Recruiting and AD, Talent Marketing to develop scalable solutions to build our candidate pipeline and accelerate hiring
  • Build out and continuously improve our TA Operations and Candidate Experience functions
  • Partner with our Talent Marketing team to build and ensure adoption of structured, competency-based interviewing and candidate assessment
  • Identify new technologies and applications to improve recruiting efficiency and effectiveness, and oversee technology selection and vendor management
  • Partner with our People Insights team to create a world-class data-driven Talent Acquisition function 
  • Ensure that our TA team consistently delivers an exceptional candidate experience
  • Measurably advance our progress toward becoming a leader in diversity hiring
  • Own and drive the TA team’s budget, business goals, deliverables, and metrics
  • Partner with Talent leadership worldwide to ensure alignment in our global TA strategy
  • Lead and develop a team of high-performing recruiting leaders, coordinators, and TA systems experts
  • Serve as a trusted partner and the go-to person for senior leaders and executives on all TA-related topics

 

What You'll Bring

  • Ability to build and scale TA processes and deliver on ambitious hiring plans
  • Experience driving performance on large-scale business and/or HR priorities
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate business challenges into action
  • Data-driven, fast-paced project management and execution in a highly operational environment
  • Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information 
  • Experience with HR tech platforms, including ATS and key integrations
  • Focus on continuous improvement and quickly filling key roles across the business
  • Top-notch communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

 

You Have/Are

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in TA, HR, and/or business operations, including 5-7 years of team leadership experience
  • Ability to analyze data, market trends, and other inputs to identify new opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience leading and delivering on complex programs from start to finish
