The HashiCorp R&D Recruiting team partners with our R&D Organization (Cloud Platform, Security, Design and Product Engineering) to build out a world class talent organization. We implement innovative and high impact strategies that help us scale as we continue our worldwide growth. We thrive on collaboration, data-driven approaches to hiring and creating an excellent candidate & stakeholder experience. 

What You’ll Do

As a Recruiter on the R&D team, you will partner with hiring managers to define requisition requirements and develop sourcing strategies targeting high-performing candidates. You will manage end-to-end processes, juggle multiple  priorities and work with remote team members, managers and candidates in different countries or time zones.

Serving as a thought leader to advance our sourcing tools and interview processes, you will identify opportunities to create and manage an extraordinary candidate experience to broaden our brand.  You will leverage your experience with behavioral, functional and value based interviewing techniques to provide detailed feedback to hiring managers; your use of recruiting data will help you spot trends and give recommendations where needed. 

Your Roadmap to Success 

Your first 30 - Days

You will build a deep understanding of HashiCorp’s R&D organization, products, and teams in order to attract top talent. You will develop a strong grasp of our roadmap as well as our recruiting processes and shadow fellow recruiters as you ramp up & meet key stakeholders. 

Your first 90 - Days

You’ll take on roles in our quarterly hiring plan. You’ll lead kick-off meetings, implement a recruiting strategy to generate a robust candidate pipeline and create a top notch and inclusive interviewing experience to fill your first roles. 

Your first 180 - Days

You will drive recruitment efforts in support of our quarterly hiring targets. You focus on the efficiency of our recruiting process and other strategic projects.  At this point, you will have established close partnerships with teammates and hiring managers.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience with high volume, strategic recruiting, preferably in a software and/or open source technology company with a global footprint. 
  • Solid knowledge of advanced sourcing techniques with a focus on attracting a diverse slate of candidates
  • Strong business acumen and natural curiosity that will allow you to advise your client groups and contribute beyond just filling open roles
  • Ability to thrive in independent, collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Greenhouse, LinkedIn and / or other recruiting and sourcing tools
  • Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills
