Emerging Talent is part of the Inclusion Recruiting Programs team and the greater Talent Acquisition organization at Netflix. Our purpose is to attract, recruit, and develop exceptional and diverse emerging talent, building a pipeline and bench of future leaders and innovators at Netflix. You will have an opportunity to play a role in helping guide the direction and vision of our newly formed and growing team.

In this role you will:

  • Execute the strategy to recruit undergrad, masters, MBA, and Ph.D. students from candidates in limited talent pools, including driving a business plan, building key competitive research, develop student profile and core competencies, networking, and direct sourcing
  • Coach and advise internal stakeholders on emerging talent recruiting strategies, processes, and best practices
  • Network and maintain student relationships at key institutions that support and promote the advancement of traditionally underrepresented students
  • Develop university recruiting strategies that include identifying which schools we focus on based on degree programs that align with desired skillsets
  • Create and execute engaging virtual events for early-in-career individuals to increase interest in Netflix, our brand, and the work our teams do
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge with industry trends within the early career recruiting landscape
  • Leverage talent market expertise, data, and business acumen to educate internal stakeholders on where to recruit emerging talent to ensure a representative pool
  • Understand our broader business and be able to answer questions around Netflix strategy, goals, and culture
  • Play a role in developing internship and new grad experiences, from pre-start engagement to programming dedicated to onboarding, learning & development, and cohort building

You are:

  • Passionate about emerging talent and have previous experience working with this talent pool
  • A relationship builder and able to nurture long-term relationships with students, key internal stakeholders, university professors, and career services
  • Obsessed with the candidate experience and will go above and beyond to set students up for success
  • Student-centric in your approach and passionate about coaching and advising candidates through difficult decisions
  • A strong written and verbal communicator that enjoys creating and facilitating presentations, webinars, and additional experiential touchpoints with emerging talent
  • Curious; researching student market trends with the ability to translate back to the business
  • Comfortable managing large pipelines of candidates for multiple years
  • Energized by an ambiguous, ever-changing, fast-paced environment; are a natural problem solver and have an entrepreneurial mindset
  • A leader who will offer innovative and constructive ideas to challenge the status quo
  • Self-motivated and directed; collaborating is a must, but you will be autonomous and expected to succeed without a ton of direction
  • Proactive; taking initiative and follow-through is a must
  • Accustomed to multitasking and meeting multiple, tight deadlines
