WHAT YOU'LL DOBe part of a team that is transforming BCG into a bionic company! We are seeking a senior leader to bring our Agile vision to reality in partnership with BCG's Recruiting team. As Recruiting Technology Lead, you will be responsible for the technology strategy and implementation for a suite of products enabling our Recruiting team to scale to meet the needs of a rapidly growing firm. Leading an Agile team, you will be responsible for defining and overseeing the technology tools, architecture and roadmap supporting the recruiting engine that fuels BCG - helping to select, leverage, and develop state-of-the-art technologies like AI and ML that will ensure BCG's continued thought leadership. You will bring industry best practices to design and implement secure, performant and scalable solutions. You will lead a group of engineers and architects embedded in agile delivery teams and be responsible for their growth, upskilling and ongoing development. You will work closely with peers to align to an enterprise vision for IT services across BCG's internal business functions. WHAT YOU'LL DOThis role will oversee development and operations activities as well as perform all other related tasks, such as:Partnering with the Recruiting team lead to define roadmaps and priorities for the technology portfolioManaging the Recruiting technology budget and lead the creation of business cases necessary to secure funding for future initiativesCoaching the team of engineers, technical specialists, and architects -- and introducing new technologies and practices as neededLeading technical analysis of both packaged software solutions and custom-built applicationsAdvocating for release management and automation best practicesEnsuring proper root cause analysis and remediation is executed during any incidents or outagesWorking with vendors to augment team capacity and knowledgeYOU'RE GOOD ATThinking strategically and developing executable plans to achieve business needsApplying Agile software development methodologies and principles, including work estimation techniquesOverseeing technical architecture, tooling, platforms & systems in coordination with Enterprise Architecture, and ensuring compliance with standards and guardrailsLeading a group of agile teams to deliver on defined roadmapsWorking closely with key stakeholders to understand business problems and surfacing technology options to address those problems - including experimenting with emerging technologiesLeveraging strong analytical abilities and creative problem solvingLearning new tools and technologies with a high degree of technical competenceOperating with a transparency mindset, communicating clearly and openly both above and belowCommitting to deliver high quality work by collaborating cross-functionally to achieve the best results for the organizationWorking with a multicultural, distributed team located in different time zones and having the capacity to work on multiple projects concurrentlyYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)College degree and 12+ years of experience in the delivery of business applications in a commercial IT setting, or in consultingLeadership of technical teams and vendors during significant implementation programsHands-on technology implementation experience - both custom and off-the-shelf applications; knowledge of multiple Applicant Tracking and Candidate Relationship Mgmt packages preferredExperience in agile development environments with all aspects of SDLCAbility to lead/perform software platform assessments, as well as make architectural recommendations pertinent to business needs and related dependenciesGood understanding of security best practices from development and deployment perspectivesStrong technical competence, with the ability to rapidly learn new tools and technologiesFinancial literacy and an understanding of budget and funding processesFlexibility and entrepreneurial spirit to adapt easily to changing requirements and prioritiesYOU'LL WORK WITHYou don't have to fit into a mould at BCG-there isn't one.
