About the Job 

You will be a knowledgeable, trusted advisor and partner with the business to understand specific talent needs to build a diverse pipeline of active and passive qualified candidates through multiple channels. You will develop a sourcing strategy to build a diverse pipeline of candidates and other talent segments, applying different channels such as personal network, blogs, forums, advertising and research methods and select sourcing tools to attract passive talent. You will be maniacal about creating the best candidate experience possible!

Job Description

  • Identify potential and priority candidates through the internal resume database, candidate referrals, networking, and web sourcing
  • Work closely with Recruiting team to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies to create appropriate candidate flow and pipeline to meet overall recruiting goals
  • Schedule phone screens for Recruiters screens as necessary
  • Represent the OpenSesame recruiting team internally and externally
  • Ensure an impressive candidate experience through thorough communication & timely feedback
  • Track metrics and use data for strategic analysis of sourcing and recruiting campaigns

Performance Based Objectives 

30 days

  • Within the first 30 days, you will familiarize yourself with our business, as well as Opensesame recruiting processes, tools, open roles, and headcount plan. 
  • Recruiting tool stack includes: Greenhouse ATS, Seekout, SourceWhale, TalentWall, Gmail/Google, LinkedIn
  • You will train on existing recruiting efforts to understand the OpenSesame story, value proposition, and culture. You will join internal meetings with hiring managers for alignment on ideal candidates, and take ownership of internal communications about open roles and drive employee involvement in our sourcing efforts. 
  • Inbound activity includes:
    • Reviewing incoming applicants & escalating qualified candidates 
    • Reviewing all internal referrals for job fit and keeping recruiters up to date on status
  • Outbound activity includes: 
    • Targeted custom messaging 20/day (100/week)
    • Bulk messaging to 75/day (300-500/week) using various bulk messaging tools 
    • Job postings & highlight 2/day (10/week) (Websites, Job Boards, Industry specific groups/associations, Social Media, Slack Groups)
    • Goal: 3/week quality sourced candidates per week by the end of your first month

60 days

  • Within your first 60 days, you will be independently running sourcing efforts for priority roles across organizations (Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, and other departments), utilizing a combination of tools, including but not limited to social media, email, phone / texting campaigns, and others as identified. 
  • You will be identifying additional opportunities for where & how to target ideal candidates for our business (professional agencies, source/networking opportunities, OpenSesame social media, etc.)
  • Inbound activity includes:
    • Reviewing incoming applicants & escalating qualified candidates 
    • Reviewing all internal referrals for job fit and keeping recruiters up to date on status
  • Outbound activity includes: 
    • Targeted custom messaging 20/day (100/week)
    • Bulk messaging to 75/day (300-500/week) using various bulk messaging tools 
    • Job postings & highlight 2/day (10/week) (Websites, Job Boards, Industry specific groups/associations, Social Media, Slack Groups)
    • Goal: 5/week quality sourced candidates per week

90 days

  • Within 90 days, you will have a strong sense of our business, and will be independently managing our sourcing efforts. 
  • You will develop a long term strategy and roadmap for the next phase of sourcing efforts at OpenSesame, such as providing recommendations around tools (what/how we use), recommendations for our recruiters and hiring managers, etc.
