Job DescriptionThe Manager, Executive Recruiting will drive sourcing strategy and execution for executive level roles across the Advance Auto Parts organization. This high touch role will develop and execute proactive strategies for recruiting top-caliber, diverse talent in a high-growth, metrics-oriented environment. This executive search specialist will conduct extensive market/candidate research, competitive intelligence and talent mapping across all business lines and functions. This is a HYBRID role which requires in-office collaboration with executive level stakeholder and partners in the Raleigh, NC AAP Headquarters location: 4200 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27609 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Lead end to end placement of executive level candidates for selected positions including proactive sourcing, interviewing, selection and offersPartner with business leaders to gain clear view and understanding of their strategic and financial objectives along with hiring needsFormulate and implement a targeted research and sourcing strategy, strong emphasis on Diversity recruiting and sourcing strategiesConduct deep industry research and utilize competitive intelligenceIdentify and assess prospective candidates using a variety of channelsPresent shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summariesOffer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completionBuild pipeline and network of leadership candidatesPartner with the Director of TA to develop and execute the 5-year Talent strategyProvide guidance, direction and team leadership to other recruiters within the organizationDevelop and implement programs, plans, policies, and procedures for recruitment, assessment, selection, and job placement for internal talent mobilityDevelop and maintain training materials for sourcing, selection, offer, and retention of talentComply with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as all Company policies and procedures. Possess heightened awareness of employment laws and regulations that may affect recruiting.Travel occasionally, as needed QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of Team Members.Effective negotiation and influencing skillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, Team Members, and the prospective talent.Must possess strong creativity skills.Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Ability to travel as needed EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; and5-7 years related experience and/or training (previous HR or retail experience preferred); or Equivalent combination of education and experienceExecutive recruitment management experience, preferably within a Retail organization. Previous work in a full-life-cycle executive recruiting functionExperience handling difficult to fill positions.
