The Talent Acquisition Recruiter II will oversee the planning and development of a talent acquisition strategy and management of the recruiting process. Responsible for building relationships, sourcing, interviewing, and coordinating hiring of strategic candidates throughout our organization. Proactively and effectively develops networks and pipelines of potential candidates. This position will work with Marketing to build a strong employment brand and ensure strong relationships with candidates.
Employee shall have the following minimum duties:
Foster a talent advisor mindset with internal customers and teams.
Build effective relationships with leaders across the organization to design and execute recruiting programs to meet their needs.
Lead the design of strategies for the sourcing and acquisition of qualified candidates through traditional and non-traditional channels.
Provide resources for the hiring managers to execute recruiting process.
Capture and monitor workforce planning with business units to gather requirements for strategic hires.
Manage advertising for openings and monitor all job postings in ATS.
Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast.
Understand and anticipate labor market, internal turnover, future hiring needs and general recruiting trends. Discuss and share how findings effect the future attraction and retention of talent.
Find talented individuals to meet company requirements, which requires being active on social media forums, career fair attendance, making cold calls, college recruiting, utilizing employee referral bonus program and other creative methods to identify qualified candidates.
Work with Marketing to design, plan and execute innovative social media campaigns and employer branding activities and strategies.
Source candidates (both cold calling and through other sources), perform prescreen phone calls, conduct interviews, analyze the information provided by a candidate, document results, and discuss the candidate status with the Hiring Manager and interviewing team.
Build relationships with and lead strategic recruiting resources and act as liaison with preferred employment vendors to ensure steady candidate flow and contract compliance.
Maintain active database of potential candidates in the appropriate applicant tracking software, documenting phone calls and other contacts and communication.
Communicate and motivate candidates regarding career opportunities and packages at Raba Kistner.
Train managers and monitor to ensure effective and legal interviewing and selection practices.
Maintain and ensure the job description database is current.
Lead new employee relocation and relocation companies when applicable.
Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring job offers and compensation practices, emphasizing benefits and perks.
Lead intern program by conducting orientations, scheduling rotations and assignments, monitoring intern job contributions and coordinating training and coaching with managers.
Ensure effective transition to on-boarding team and follow to ensure the process is going smoothly.
Review background reports.
Plan procedures for improving candidate experience.
Ensure that all company diversity and affirmative action goals are taken into consideration and are integral to all candidates recruiting.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Position may require protracted or irregular hours. Flexibility to work irregular hours is necessary due to client needs. Work responsibilities may require out of town/overnight travel to Raba Kistner offices, client offices and project locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Employee shall possess the following minimum qualifications:
Minimum 5-7 years of recruiting experience. Prefer a BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources or relevant field.
HR Certification such as SPHR, PHR preferred.
Industry experience is a plus.
In depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, social media and employer branding techniques.
Considerable skill in interviewing techniques and extensive knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Strong computer skills (experience with HRIS, ATS and marketing tools) required. Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Knowledge of benefit and compensation programs, a plus.
Ability to travel.
A sense of ownership and how talent acquisition can improve overall company performance.
Strong interpersonal skills capable of relating to individuals at all levels. Must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image.
Must be willing to conduct some administrative tasks to ensure complete and accurate information provided on every position filled.
Ability to continuously drive for process improvement coupled with excellent written and communication skills.
A zeal for helping others; customer-service focused; helpful and positive attitude.
Must be willing to participate in and help facilitate department initiatives in a non-siloed team environment.
Understand, adhere and participate in the Raba Kistner Health and Safety and Behavior Based Safety Programs and set a good safety example.
Present a professional appearance to best represent the firm.
Must pass a drug test prior to employment and will be subject to post-accident, random, and reasonable cause testing during employment.
Comply with all attendance requirements as noted in most current edition of the Employee Handbook.
