WHAT YOU'LL DOThe role of the Talent Acquisition Operations Manager is to drive high quality centralized recruiting operations for North America entry level consultant hiring. You will partner closely with the Talent Acquisition Director of Operations and Analytics, office recruiting teams, and regional recruiting teams to ensure a seamless recruiting experience for candidates and consultants. You will manage, coach and develop a large team of talent acquisition operations professionals to support the operational needs of the organization. You will lead large projects and continually identify areas of improvements in our processes and systems as we scale. YOU'RE GOOD ATDeveloping operations recruiting strategy jointly with the operations leadership team including support model, offerings provided, team structure, and tools utilizedParticipating actively in the screening, hiring and on-boarding of new talent acquisition operations team members and temporary staffManaging and developing a team of talent acquisition operations professionals including assisting the team in prioritizing requests, meeting deadlines, quality checking key work, addressing out of scope requests, and managing project workBuilding strong relationships with offices and regional teams by working closely with these teams to define support needs, determine priorities based on business need, address key questions and concerns, and partner as an extension of the supported teamsPlanning temporary capacity needed during peak recruiting season to manage workload and help prioritize capacity against recruiting team needsDesigning and modifying standard process workflows for major regional and office processes that will be supported by the operations teamIdentifying opportunities for improvement and proposing solutions through analyzing issues that arise, reviewing existing processes, cultivating an open feedback culture, and reviewing metricsIdentifying gaps in our recruiting systems and working with the systems team to propose, test, and implement solutionsAssisting in operations metrics collection and analysisSupporting broader Atlanta Nexus office Business Services Team management efforts; be a leader in the officeLeading and executing strategic projects as neededYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)Education and experience:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required, MBA or other graduate degree strongly preferred6 or more years of previous recruiting, HR, operations or other related experience. Prior professional services experience a plusSupervisory/management experience requiredExperience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organizationConsulting experience or exposure a plusFlexibility and some travel required, particularly around peak recruiting season and planning weeksFunctional and soft skills:Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughnessAbility to set and balance competing priorities, plan workflow and take initiativeAnalytical proficiency; facility with numbersAbility to work effectively with all levels of the organization and work well under pressureAbility to understand and manage complex reporting relationships and incorporate multiple labor laws and culturesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, positive personal and professional image, high standards of professional behavior and ethicsDemonstrated leadership ability; works well as team playerExcellent oral and written communication skills; able to effectively persuade, influence, and negotiateComfortable in resolving conflict and people related issuesAbility to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service- oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with BCG's values and cultureDisplay a high degree of flexibility in a demanding, fast paced, and frequently changing environment Technical skills:Exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills; prior database experience YOU'LL WORK WITHBCG's HR team works to attract, develop, excite, deploy, and retain the best people in the market.
