Objective

Heavy equipment Front-End Loader Operators needed for our Moncure, NC STAR location.

Structured 28-day, rotating DuPont schedule - 4, 3, 3, 4 - with 8 consecutive days off.

Competitive starting hourly rate and scheduled performance review/increase for

new Team members.

OT after 40 and for all unscheduled hours worked.

Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAble to work 12-hour rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysMechanical proficiency sufficient to operate various plant and heavy equipment (front-end loader), conduct equipment inspections, and perform light maintenanceSelf-starter

Additional Eligibility Requirements

Ability to read and interpret materials, operate plant equipment, and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work in confined spaces and high places

The SEFA Group's purpose is to develop mutually advantageous relationships within the utility and construction industries in order to maximize the beneficial utilization of coal combustion products in an environmentally friendly way.Essential FunctionsManage ash storage shed inventory and maintain feed supply to the external heat exchanger (EHE).Perform checks on the EHE equipment and the EHE ash storage area.Perform daily inspections, and routine operator maintenance on rolling equipment.Assist STAR Operators and Maintenance personnel, as needed.Maintain cleanliness of ash storage area and related equipment.Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentMust be able to perform heavy work requiring lifting or exerting pressure in excess of 50 Pounds frequently. Must be able to work in confined spaces and in high places. A substantial amount of standing, walking, climbing reaching overhead, bending and squatting, sitting is required. Must be able to hear alarms and timers and differentiate between the different normal and abnormal noises, sounds and alarms found in the operation of a manufacturing plant. Vision requirements include the ability to see instrument read-outs, charts, gauges, and alarm windows. Frequent exposure to outdoor conditions, high heat, dusts, chemicals, loud noises, rotating machinery and other conditions found in a power plant.
