General Purpose of the Position:The DCO Planner coordinates the preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of critical infrastructure to ensure compliance with Switch Maintenance Policies, current OSHA, County, and State requirements. This includes working with Systems Team to provide support, and manage vendor program to meet Switch Standards. This team member will work to find innovative ways to keep operational costs to a minimum, within budget, and to improve efficiency.

This position is responsible to ensure each vendor onsite has undergone a vendor orientation and company orientation or is accompanied by another badged vendor or employee. Vendors will not be allowed onsite without being entered into the portal and any behavior not in compliance to Switch standards will be dealt with up to termination from entering Switch premises.

Supervisory Responsibilities:Will oversee vendor personnel.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage vendor relationships; Work with vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets Switch standards;Enter vendor information into the portal; compliance with vendor orientation and company orientation;Solicit proposals for outsourced work;Utilize Switch ERP system to establish asset management and maintenance schedules;Coordinate all maintenance tasks in accordance with Switch Safety Policy and Procedures;Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with each vendors; discuss performance;Create work orders for client power requests to ensure data entry for energy management systems;Enter work request requisitions and approve invoices after maintenance work has been verified;Responsible for updating the list of items, maintenance plans etcWell organized and disciplined in your work;Performing administrative and document related to work;Assist in authoring process, procedures, and reporting metrics;Assist with contract negotiation and the maintenance of contract documentation;On-call rotation schedule during off hours to respond to emergency requestsOther Duties:

:

Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely and effectively with vendors and staff at all levels;High level of professionalism and confidentiality working with existing and potential vendors;Maintain a positive professional working relationship with internal clients;Make decisions independently with minimal guidance;Working experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System;Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems that may be employed in a data center environment. This may include electrical feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS Systems, DC power Systems, ATS/STS units, PDU units, breakers, batteries, load bank connections, CRACs, air handling units, fluid coolers, pumps, cages, and fire suppression systems;Capable of forecasting maintenance and establishing an effective maintenance schedule;Document electrical engineering expertise and/or experience in the electricity profession is an advantage;Must be familiar with safety requirements and OSHA regulations; andAbility to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings (blueprints/CAD)

Education and Experience:Certification:

College Degree in Management, Administrative, Technology Field, or equivalent experienceEducation:

HS Diploma or equivalentExperience:

5 years' experience in production, facilities, electrical, or mechanical maintenance preferred
