TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29425 About The Position Weekly Pay Range - $1652 To $1835 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: PICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Alternating Night/Day Shifts, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30 / 07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PICU; ECMO and CRRT experience preferred License: Multi-State/Compact RN License required Certifications: BLS, PALS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs Job Description: - Work 3x12-hour shifts alternating between night and day based on unit needs, with holiday rotation - Weekend requirements: Every other weekend - Care for patients in a 28-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, ages 0-18, with a mix of medical and surgical diagnoses - Maintain appropriate patient ratios: 1:2 for ICU patients and 1:3 for Stepdown patients - Provide care for patients requiring ventilatory and cardiac support, ECMO/CRRT, dialysis, and other complex supportive therapies - Engage in teamwork with a mix of Registered Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, and Unit Secretaries - Collaborate with therapeutic supportive services such as Respiratory Therapy, Pediatric Dietitians, and Pediatric Pharmacists - Be prepared for potential emergency response team assignments during hurricane season - Must submit all requested time off at the time of application submission and approval is based on unit needs This is an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Facility, providing high-quality care to children from various backgrounds with diverse medical needs. 25964010EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing If you have a sense of adventure, travel nursing provides the opportunity to explore different cities, states, or even countries.
