TravelTitle: Registered Nuclear Medicine TechnologistLocation: Saratoga, NYShift: 07:00 AM-05:30 PM (5*8) No WeekendsWeekly hours: 40 HoursRequired:• State Lic for NY• Must have NYS Nuc Med Registration• BLS• Min 1 year experienceKey Responsibilities:• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners.• Perform imaging procedures, including SPECT and PET scans, and analyze results for diagnostic interpretation.• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols related to the use of radioactive materials.• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.• Provide patient education regarding procedures, including potential risks and benefits.• Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.• Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and practices.vTech Healthcare Job ID #29742.
