Job Description:Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date. Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.General Job duties. Types of procedures required.Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical unitsShift or schedule requirements.12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes.Required skills and minimum years of experience.2-10 years experienceSpecific licensures and certifications/registrations required.BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)Floating to other units/departments.Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nightsLaulima 1:6Cardiovascular 1:4Ratio may vary due to unexpected leavesDress Code.Professional nursing attire - clean scrubsTell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.Orientation time provided for each unitPosition Urgency:NormalShifts:12-hour shifts - Nights (1845-0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation.
