Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.Coordinate and complete annual audits.Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.Meet financial accounting objectives.Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.Ensure compliance with all internal processes.Collaborate with financial team and other business partners.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required (MBA preferred).Professional certification (e.g. CMA, CPA) is a plus.Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to direct and supervise.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.SaaS industry experience is a plus.
